Sony have upped the ante with the release of their latest flagship superphone. The Xperia Z3 packs a 3,100mAh battery that boasts a whopping two full days of regular usage putting it miles ahead of its peers in the juice department. The extra efficiency comes down to two things – the Z3′s Snapdragon 801 processor, which clocks in at a zippy 2.5GHz, and a fancy new screen technology which retains memory of whatever is on the display for faster reloading times.
The impressive battery life is essential because, as with previous entries in the Xperia range, the Z3 is a multimedia powerhouse sporting a 5.2in Full HD display with Triluminos tech for a wider colour gamut. Its svelte 7.3mm thick, 152g aluminium and glass frame is fully waterproof and dust-resistant, with an IP 65/68 rating meaning that it has no problems soaking at up to a depth of 1.5m for a full 30 minutes before you have to get the net out.
